Meanwhile, Scar and his sidekick, a dim-witted but lovable caveman named Bongo (played by someone like Kevin Hart), were hot on their heels, using every trick in the book to try and outsmart the Croods.

But as they held the Golden Acorn in their hands, the Croods realized that its true power lay not in granting wishes, but in bringing them closer together as a family. They decided to use the Golden Acorn to create a better life for themselves and for their community, and they returned home to a hero's welcome.

The Croods family was living their best life in their new home, a beautiful cave filled with all the modern amenities they could ask for. Grug (Nicolas Cage), the patriarch of the family, had finally found a sense of peace and stability after years of wandering through the prehistoric wilderness with his wife, Ugga (Claudia Black), and their three kids, Thunk (Clark Duke), Gran (Emma Bunton), and Guy (Ryan Newman).

In the end, it was Guy who came up with a plan that would ultimately lead to their victory. Using his knowledge of the ancient map and his quick thinking, Guy was able to outmaneuver Scar and his sidekick, and claim the Golden Acorn for himself.
